How Our Bedbug Extermination Process Works
If you suspect that you have bedbugs or have identified them already, we are here to help. Our services do not harm your home, belongings or family. The complete extermination process is divided into four parts.
Step 1: Inspection
During this phase, our trained inspectors look in every room of your home to find signs of bedbugs. They often hide under mattresses, in upholstered furniture and even in closets. Odors, dirt-like excrement and blood spots may be signs of bedbugs. If we find an infestation, we determine the extent of it and schedule the treatment.
Step 2: Initial Treatment
In this phase, we take several steps. The initial extermination treatment for bedbugs may take between four and eight hours to complete. Property size and other factors determine the total time requirement. In addition to treating infested rooms, we treat adjacent rooms to prevent new infestations. Also, we set up monitors before we leave to see if there is any additional activity.
Step 3: Second Treatment
Up to 10 days after the first treatment, we conduct a follow-up visit to see if the there is still activity. If necessary, we apply additional bedbug treatments to the infested areas and adjacent rooms. The time it takes to complete a follow-up treatment depends on the extent of any remaining problem. In some cases, the initial treatment eliminates the problem.
Step 4: Final Inspection
Since we want to be certain that the bedbugs are eradicated from your home, we conduct a fourth and final inspection. If you live in a shared residential building with units adjacent to yours, state law requires them to be treated as well. Depending on your situation, we can tell you how to notify a landlord, tenants or neighbors.
Our Bed Bug Service Guarantee
We are confident in our methods, treatments and professional skills. This is why we offer a service guarantee, which is good for 30 days after the initial treatment. If you see bedbugs return during that month-long period, we urge you to contact us. We will come to your property to treat the remaining problem at no extra cost to you.
